A Book Worth Reading

So the title might be a little alarming, but the book is worth a read. Not only does it help women understand the value of appreciating themselves (you wouldn't think it but a lot of women don't get it) but also helps you understand how men think in terms of getting into solid, lasting relationships. Most women don't want to be lonely or would rather have "something" instead of "nothing" in terms of companionship, but that is exactly what lands us into the temporary category in a man's mind. Trust me, I have been there and it's not a place I want to go back to. This book really helps you to define yourself and becomes a LIFESTYLE that is lasting (probably longer than some of your past relationships). I paid only $15 for the book--albeit about 4 years ago--but the knowledge it gives you is well worth it. Hey, who doesn't want to be a strong assertive woman that knows what she wants?

Other books along the same lines are Steve Harvey's "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man" or Finess Mitchell's "Your Girlfriends Only Know So Much."
